Woodfords Club lot = Home Base for In-Person Gatherings
+ June 28th - In-Person Gathering @ Woodfords Club
For consistency sake, we will be meeting most Sundays at our home base of the Woodfords Club parking lot (179 Woodford St. – Portland) for in-person Worship Gatherings at 10:03am.
There may be the odd time we have to switch venues due to inclement weather or a special event.
Thanks for your patience as we experiment and have to make adjustments during the Covid pandemic!!!

Missional Opportunities to Join our Partners
As we join with God in the renewal of Portland, ME, and all things, we also partner with other organizations who are extending the love of Christ.
Join with…The ROOT CELLAR
The Root Cellar is looking for 3 or 4 individuals ages 14+ who would be interested in helping with kids programs this summer. Usually we have mission teams coming to do that and this year that is not happening, so we are looking to local church groups for help.
From July 6th-July 20th, we'd be looking for folks that can spend 2 hours a day, Monday through Thursday (from 1 to 3 pm) working with a small group of (5-8) kids, helping to lead activities, hopefully mostly outside. All the activities will be thoroughly planned and ready to roll.
We will divide the month of July up into 2 week segments, so the commitment would be to do the 2 hours a day, Monday through Thursday for 2 weeks. First segment from July 6th to July 20th, second segment from July 21st to August 3rd.
If you are interested, please contact:

PROTEST like PETER!!!
As a a local church and as the People of God, we join with the family of George Floyd in grieving, lamenting, and hurting along with our Nation, black lives, and people of color! We are deeply disturbed by the rampant racism and violence that has permeated our country and that we have failed to address as followers of Christ. We are disturbed too by the small number of people who are currently turning this tragedy to their advantage and to create havoc in the midst of a choir of prophetic protest!
We also join with St. Peter's protest in Acts 2:40 and through the Epistle of 1 Peter by calling out ourselves and our nation, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation." May we no longer stand in Caesar's shadow but rather, walk in the Way of Christ's servanthood and sacrificial love!!!
Please PROTEST in the vein of Christ and join our church community in person or via Zoom on Sunday as we continue this lamenting, confessing, convicting conversation from the book of 1 Peter. As St. Peter would exhort us, "May God save us from our crooked generation!!!"
Below are some resources for us to consider as we learn how to listen to People of Color and how to PROTEST further:
